Swiss leader in pension solutions

Client

Swiss leader in pension solution

Context & challenge

Swiss market leader in pension solutions launching a 2‑year transformation program to implement a standard software covering all administrative and actuarial needs of pension funds. The migration had a strict timeline, limited existing documentation and little experience with structured requirements engineering, making clarity and prioritisation critical.

Role

Business analyst and deputy stream lead for a team of 4 business analysts.
Planned and designed the requirements analysis phase for around 50 business processes, including workshop design, preparation and facilitation with stakeholders.
Gathered and specified business requirements, identified gaps versus the standard solution, aligned with stakeholders and handed over to the IT implementation partner, while supporting testing of the delivered solution.

Timeframe & results

18 months, full‑time engagement.
Requirements and processes documented according to the agreed methodology, meeting audit requirements and providing a clear basis for implementation and testing.

Swiss National Science Foundation

Client

The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) funds excellent research at universities – from physics to medicine to sociology. Thousands of teams are generating knowledge for a better future for all. Together with their partners, they play a key role in shaping research in Switzerland.

Context & challenge

Migration of core research funding processes to the cloud..
High complexity and first project using an agile implementation approach at SNSF, with the goal to modernise and standardise processes across multiple funding instruments.

Role

Business Analyst & Deputy Product Owner for one team (8 FTE).
Led requirements gathering and solution design for two critical business processes (external review workflows), and facilitated workshops with scientific and administrative teams.

Timeframe & results

+12 months, full-time engagement.
Live platform (portal.snf.ch) and improved user experience for applicants and reviewers. The project is still ongoing and new functionalities are delivered on weekly basis.

Viseca

Client

Viseca is a leading provider of products and services of cashless payment. This includes the issue of payment cards (Viseca Card Services SA) and the provision of card business services for issuers (Viseca Payment Services SA).

Context & challenge

CRM team of 10 FTE distributed across three locations (Zurich, Ticino and Italy), responsible for a business‑critical system used daily by multiple departments.
The organisation needed to plan and deliver new CRM features in a structured way, align business and IT, and ensure smooth rollout without disrupting operations.

Role

Product Owner for the CRM team, leading the planning and delivery of new features.
Actively participated in PI planning, sprint planning and other Scrum ceremonies, and co‑designed solutions and processes with key users, system analysts and developers.
Supported the testing team and specified requirements in JIRA to ensure clarity and traceability.

Timeframe & results

+12 months, full‑time engagement.
More predictable delivery of CRM features, better alignment between business and IT, and improved collaboration across the three locations.

Context & challenge

Distributed infrastructure team across three locations, working in French and German, seeking to modernise its ways of working to become more agile and efficient.
Workload coming through many different channels, with no central system and no structured process for planning and prioritisation, and only limited internal expertise in agile methods.

Role

Methods consultant & change enabler.
Designed and facilitated a LEGO Serious Play workshop (Scrum introduction), implemented a central JIRA backlog and organised retrospectives, ensuring team independence post‑engagement.

Timeframe & results

10 months, 5% engagement.
Unified Scrum‑based workflow with a central backlog, team now self‑sufficient in agile practices and daily work significantly more efficient.
